Avalon Park resident Franco Del Solar is ready to bring his work home with him.
Having owned and operated Brazas Chicken’s Orange Avenue location since April 2006, Franco and his business partner Doris Del Solar are now opening a second Brazas Chicken at Marketplace at Avalon Park.
“For the last 15 years, we have given our customers the best food and service,” says Franco. “We are ready to continue the growth of this business.”
Originally from Peru, both Franco and Doris are excited to expand their operations into the neighborhood that they have lived in for the past 16 years.
“We both moved from New York and have called Avalon Park home for over a decade. I love living here and I am proud to bring a little bit of my home culture to my American home,” Franco declares.
As an express kitchen, Brazas Chicken at Marketplace at Avalon Park offers a select menu that separates it from its original full-service restaurant located in downtown Orlando.
The Brazas Chicken express menu boasts classic Latin tastes and flavors such as their tender and juicy Rotisserie-style Chicken, popular Papa a la Huancaina (sliced potatoes with creamy cheese), and seafood offerings like Ceviche and Shrimp.
Each menu item can be paired with sweet potatoes, maduras, tostones, yucca fries, fried corn, or rice and beans as sides. For dessert, indulge in an Alfajores (Peruvian cookie) or slice of Banana Cheesecake.
“We ensure to always use the best ingredients in the market,” Franco says. “Our Peruvian cuisine is the finest food anyone has ever tasted. We have a good variety, especially with all these years of experience.”
By combining traditional Peruvian cuisine with Latin culture, Brazas Chicken hopes to draw local foodies and patrons from all over Central Florida to East Orlando’s newest destination for an authentic Peruvian dining experience.
“The restaurant business is so hard but no one can do it like we do,” admits Franco. “We love what we do and that’s all that matters: Good food, good service.”
Located in the Marketplace at Avalon Park food hall, Brazas Chicken offers a classy-meets-casual atmosphere and delicious Latin cuisine for the whole family.
