An Orlando resident for over 15 years, Bruce Galicia has run fast casual franchises in the Central Florida area for over a decade. Now, he is expanding his operations and menu with a new dessert spot at Marketplace at Avalon Park.
“I started working in restaurants while in college, but didn’t really get ‘proper training’ anywhere,” Galicia admits. “I learned as I went. I enjoy learning how to make ice cream from scratch and trying different flavors out to make the perfect creamy ice cream.”
While Galicia and his wife and co-owner Diana originally came to Marketplace at Avalon to lease a parcel for their fast casual poké restaurant, LemonShark Poké, an opportunity presented itself that was too good to pass up.
“(The) leasing rep expressed the need for a dessert concept in the Marketplace. I was up for the challenge and decided to create a dessert spot that featured homemade ice cream.”
The result: Sip ‘n Roll Creamery.
Galicia’s dessert venture serves flavorful Smoothies and a variety of interesting Ice Cream Treatz like “Me Want Cookies” featuring Nom Nom Crunch swirl ice cream with crushed Oreos, marshmallows, and Cookie Crisp cereal.
Sip ‘n Roll Creamery also sells refreshing Slush‘Teas combinations and unique Floa’Teas drinks like “Whatz a Matcha With You,” a pink Lychee Slushie with strawberries, bubble pearls, and Matcha swirl ice cream.
Located in the Marketplace at Avalon Park food hall, Sip ‘n Roll Creamery offers a little something to satisfy every appetite.
