Join Avalon General for a pre-holiday evening where you will be guided through the basics of wine tasting with a selection of three outstanding wines fully representative of the best that Ribera del Duero has to offer.
Jorge Arandilla, winemaker and owner of bodegas Tres Piedras, a small production boutique winery that is gaining rapid recognition for the dedication placed into the elaboration of outstanding wines based on the autochthonous Tempranillo (red) and Albillo (white) grapes from Ribera del Duero, as well as for the efforts his winery is dedicating into recovering centenary-old traditional viticulture and winemaking practices with a modern spin, will be guiding you through a tasting featuring some of his favorite wines paired with delicious delights provided by Resto Urban Kitchen.
Participants will have the opportunity to taste wines made from grapes grown in vineyards planted several generations ago, where centenary-old vines with really deep roots provide the grapes with structure, complexity and concentration that translates into white and red wines of extreme recognition.
Participants will be welcomed with an outstanding sparkling Cava from a historical producer in the Penedés region of Spain (Oriol Rossell).
During the tasting class, participants will enjoy a full meal of local cuisine catered by Resto located inside the Marketplace at Avalon Park.
